Senior Azure Data Engineer Markham

Build trusted enterprise data platforms with advanced SQL and Python at Amphenol Communications Solutions in Markham. Engineer integrations supporting global business systems.This Data Engineer develops and operates reliable data services across applications, databases, APIs, and files. The role requires five-plus years of hands-on data engineering or software engineering experience, production pipeline ownership, and strong Azure Data Factory expertise. Microsoft Fabric experience is preferred.Key Responsibilities:
Build reusable platform components, ingestion frameworks, and transformation servicesEngineer integrations across ERP, MES, CRM, databases, APIs, and filesImplement validation, reconciliation, deduplication, and completeness checksSupport platform upgrades, migrations, regression testing, and recovery planningMonitor reliability, optimize processing, and resolve recurring failuresRequirements:
Advanced SQL and strong Python programming skillsExperience with Azure Data Factory and cloud data platformsFive-plus years owning production pipelines and integrationsExperience with ETL, ELT, orchestration, and incremental loadingKnowledge of Git, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and secure credentialsApply engineering discipline, Azure Data Factory, SQL, and Python expertise to Amphenol’s trusted enterprise data platform in Markham.
