Overnight Assistant Superintendent for Ontario Line
Ontario Transit Group - Ontario Line - Southern Civil, Stations & Tunnel
Step into an impactful role at Ferrovial Construction as an Assistant Superintendent in the overnight shift. Lead construction efforts for the Ontario Line, ensuring compliance and safety. This role supports site coordination from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM, Monday to Friday. You'll work closely with the General Superintendent to manage project schedules, manpower, and materials. Address on-site issues, monitor progress, and maintain site documentation to keep the project on track and within budget. Strong leadership will be essential as you supervise subcontractors and employees. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate on-site construction activities effectively
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
- Identify and resolve potential project conflicts
- Analyze cost reports and provide recommendations
- Supervise trades, maintaining operational efficiency
- At least 5+ years in a similar construction role
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes and safety laws
- Proven leadership and strong communication skills
- Familiarity with project management software
- Post-secondary education in relevant field
