Hotel Housekeeping Attendant

Job Responsibility:

Between Bridges Inn is a premier hotel situated on Canada's 1 Highway 5 minutes from Geraldton. We have a beautiful licensed restaurant with 19 guest rooms and a separate house with 4 rental suites. Huge opportunity for good hours with the economic boom of the Greenstone Goldmine coming into town.

Benefits:

Retention bonus of $500 after 90 days employed and 200 hours worked

Duties:

• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
• Making beds and changing linens
• Washing windows
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
• Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping floors
• Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
• Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
• Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
• Washing blinds
• Tidying up rooms
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements

Requirements:

• 1+ years cleaning experience preferred.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Available to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays.
• Having your own car is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
