The Opportunity

Living Sky School Division is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join North Battleford Comprehensive High School beginning August 26, 2026.

North Battleford Comprehensive High School (NBCHS) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade 7–12 French Teacher to join our dynamic secondary team. The successful candidate will foster engaging, inclusive, and student-centered learning environments while supporting students in achieving academic success, developing confidence in their language skills, and building global perspectives.

About North Battleford Comprehensive High School

North Battleford Comprehensive High School (NBCHS) is a Grades 7–12 community high school serving over 1,000 students from North Battleford, the Battlefords area, and surrounding communities. • Has a background in teaching French at the middle years and/or secondary level

• Uses responsive teaching practices to support diverse learners
• Values collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional growth

Qualifications

• Valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification)
• Background and/or experience teaching French at the Grade 7–12 level is considered an asset
• Knowledge of second-language instructional practices and student-centered learning approaches is considered an asset
