Job Responsibility:
Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for the final touches on construction projects, ensuring that all elements are completed to the highest standards. Your expertise will contribute to creating beautiful and functional spaces for our clients.
Duties
- Install and finish cabinetry, moldings, trim, and other woodwork with precision.
- Perform drywall installation and finishing as needed to prepare surfaces for painting or other finishes.
- Execute construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete carpentry tasks.
- Conduct masonry work when required, ensuring structural integrity and design consistency.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Assist in construction estimating by providing input on material needs and labor requirements.
- Apply caulking techniques to seal gaps and improve the finish of installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
- Knowledge of drywall installation techniques and finishing processes.
- Familiarity with construction painting methods is preferred.
- Experience with cabinet installation is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform masonry tasks as needed for specific projects.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
