Bilingual Assistant Accounting Manager

Rubicon Path

Lead accounting operations in Montreal with Sage 300 expertise and fluent English, plus working French, in a structured contract assignment. This full-time position requires on-site work at least once weekly.

The Assistant Manager Accounting supports month-end activities and revenue-cycle oversight within a manufacturing company. The role requires a CPA, experience with accounting systems, and understanding of financial statement preparation. You will also manage or coach a small team while responding to client particularities.

Key Responsibilities:

Post and review journal entries during month-end
Create and review financial statements
Assess provisions and reserves requirements
Oversee invoicing, revenue recognition, collections, and aging analysis
Balance deferred revenue schedules and oversee cash receipts

Requirements:

Mandatory CPA designation
Fluent English and working French proficiency
Comfort with accounting systems, including Sage 300
Experience with a manufacturing company
Ability to manage or coach a small team
