Senior Hydropower Engineer Needed

Lead transformative hydroelectric projects as a Senior Hydropower Engineer with our expert electrical engineering team. Join us in modernizing Canada's energy landscape through innovative rehabilitation initiatives. In this role, you’ll steer large-scale hydroelectric plant rehabilitation while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. Your responsibilities include defining project scopes, providing technical leadership in turbine-generator units, and mentoring discipline leads to ensure top-tier deliverables. Additionally, you will supervise site activities, manage budgets, and conduct pre-project feasibility studies. Key Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, deliverables, effort, and schedules
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in plant rehabilitation projects
• Provide technical guidance in turbine-generator and electrical systems
• Mentor leads to uphold quality standards
• Ensure effective cross-disciplinary coordination

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Member of Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
• 12+ years of relevant hydropower experience
• Proven technical leadership in complex projects
• Strong bilingual skills in English and French
