Lead global tax operations at STEMCELL Technologies through international tax planning, Canadian compliance, and United States tax projects in Vancouver. Support science-driven growth by managing complex tax priorities.As Tax Manager, you will lead international, Canadian, and United States tax projects for a growing biotechnology company. You will evaluate risk, build value, and execute strategic tax planning. The position partners with internal business functions and external financial advisors while owning key projects.Key Responsibilities:
Manage regulatory audits, examinations, and dispute resolution strategiesReview international and Canadian corporate income tax filingsOversee indirect sales tax filings and paymentsLead STEMCELL’s Scientific Research and Experimental Development claim processResearch complex Canadian and international tax requirementsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree and five to ten years’ relevant experienceCPA or Chartered Accountant professional designationCPA In-Depth Taxation Course or LLM in Tax considered an assetAbility to build relationships across organizational levelsCommitment to continuous growth and learning new skillsBring global tax leadership, filing expertise, and strategic planning skills to STEMCELL Technologies’ expanding biotechnology operations.
