We are looking for a Ward Clerk to work with our Ambulatory Care Department to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork.

Position Responsibilities

The successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Ward Clerk within the Ambulatory Care.

The Ward Clerk performs clerical and administrative support functions to ensure smooth operation of the assigned unit.

Qualifications

• Ward Clerk certificate and relevant clerical experience in health care setting required.
• Medical terminology and an understanding of the health care system required.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office required.
• Ability to work unsupervised in a high pressure position required.
• Ability to interact positively with physicians and the public required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task required.
• Experience with Meditech and order entry preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Acceptable performance and attendance records.

Hiring Salary Range: $29.358 - $29.994
