Expected Start Date: June 29, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Yorkton Regional Health Centre City/Town: Yorkton Department: Mental Health General Nursing Unit Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: November 20, 2026 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Social Worker - BSW $35.137 to $42.966 Travel Required: No Job : Provides assessments, treatments, referrals and case management of individuals, couples, groups and families who experience mental health problems and/or addictions problems. Provides professional consultation and collaborative support as an interdisciplinary team member. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

- Knowledge and practical application of the Mental Health Services Act and Health Information Protection Act and other legislation

- Knowledge in addiction issues and mental health disorders
- Ability to prepare reports in a clear, concise and timely manner.
- Knowledge of the population health approach and social determinants of health
- Knowledge of community resources including treatment programs & support agencies
- Knowledge in various intervention strategies for individuals and groups
- Knowledge in recovery philosophy
