Mailroom Associate

Pay Rate: $17.95
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm

Work Environment: Professional office setting

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mailroom Associate to support daily mail and courier operations within a multi-building corporate campus. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, service-driven, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, professional environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and secure delivery of mail and packages across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, log, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and courier items
• Operate mail tracking systems (including SendSuite) and maintain accurate delivery records
• Deliver mail, packages, and documents between four buildings throughout the workday
• Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of mailbags and packages up to 50lb
• Standing, bending, and moving equipment as required to support daily operations
• Coordinate courier pickups and deliveries, ensuring deadlines and service standards are met
• Respond to internal inquiries via professional email communication, including delivery confirmations
• Communicate clearly with internal departments regarding deliveries, delays, or issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve delivery problems, escalating when necessary
• Maintain an organized, efficient, and secure mailroom environment
• Consistently meet punctuality, reliability, and service expectations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in mailroom operations or courier services
• Strong computer skills, including email, MS Office, and tracking systems (SendSuite preferred)
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50lb on a regular basis
• Comfortable walking between multiple buildings throughout the day
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate tracking and delivery
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Customer-service mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
