Security Engineer - Vulnerability Management at AXON
AXON-Networks
Join AXON Networks as a Security Engineer focusing on Vulnerability Management. Drive security efforts by assessing vulnerabilities in cloud platforms and network infrastructures. Take a lead role at AXON Networks by managing risk-based assessments across applications and hardware environments. Your expertise will guide scanning strategy and finding validation processes while ensuring operational stability. In this role, you will collaborate across engineering and support teams to enhance security without impacting customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities across all platforms
- Validate CVEs and determine applicable risk factors
- Establish a continuous remediation process
- Measure and report on security posture
- Develop automation for vulnerability handling
- Over 5 years in vulnerability assessment or security engineering
- Experience with vulnerability management tools
- In-depth knowledge of CVE trends and analyses
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments
- Scripting proficiency in Python or similar languages
