Affiliate Finance Planning Manager Biogen

Shape Biogen’s Canadian affiliate planning and performance management through scenario modeling, forecasting, and accurate financial reporting.This Senior Manager, Affiliate Finance role supports leadership decisions across commercial and operational priorities. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage planning cycles, operating expense budgets, accruals, and performance metrics. You will also support Patient Service Program and Distribution COGS reporting while maintaining financial records, general ledger balances, and P&L reporting. The hybrid Toronto position is a 12 month fixed term contract. Success requires translating complex financial information into business insights and influencing decisions without authority. Collaboration spans Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Global Business Services teams, with attention to policies, accounting standards, controls, and reporting accuracy.Key Responsibilities:
Support annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plansPrepare financial assessments and scenario modeling discussionsTrack headcount and operating expense budgetsProvide real time financial performance visibilitySupport strategic initiatives and planning deliverablesRequirements:
Seven to ten years of progressive finance experienceCPA designation required;
CFA designation is an assetExperience supporting senior leadershipStrong analytical, financial modeling, and problem solving skillsPharmaceutical or biotechnology experience highly preferredBring planning leadership, scenario analysis, and financial insight to Biogen’s affiliate finance team in Toronto.
