Position Summary As a Credit Clerk, you will play a vital role in evaluating customer creditworthiness, managing credit risk, and ensuring financial stability across the company. Your keen eye for detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively will help drive informed credit decisions. Key Responsibilities Credit Monitoring & Analysis:

• Monitor the credit inbox and address inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Run the daily orders on hold report, collaborating with collections and sales teams to determine releases.
• Gather supporting documentation for new credit requests, including credit references.
• Ensure credit requests are complete and accurate before submission for review.
• Generate weekly reports on blocked accounts or credit watch status, highlighting key concerns.

Financial & Risk Management:

• Assist in handling credit card transactions and related inquiries.
• Support ongoing maintenance of existing accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate customer risk profiles and credit limits based on payment history and financial data.
• Investigate and resolve credit-related disputes or discrepancies in customer accounts.
• Escalate credit issues to senior team members or the Director of Credit & Collections.

Other Responsibilities:

• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Credit & Collections.

Qualifications & Skills

• College diploma or bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of related experience in credit analysis or financial risk management.
• Proficiency in English & French (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data.
• Effective problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power BI, Teams, Word).
• SAP knowledge is an asset.
