Technical SEO Manager AI Search

Own technical SEO and AI search strategy remotely for Blacksmith Agency, serving clients across Canada, South Africa, or the USA. Drive rankings with authority.
As an SEO Manager, you lead search for B2B and growing-brand clients at an AI-first digital agency. You shape technical roadmaps, content priorities, and ranking explanations. Your work spans organic results, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity while paid media remains separate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and architecture
- Develop keyword strategy and on-page optimization priorities
- Guide content priorities with writers and AI producing drafts
- Improve visibility across AI search and organic results
- Report in GA4 and Search Console quarterly
Requirements:
- Three-plus years of hands-on SEO experience
- Experience running audits and implementing fixes personally
- Fluency with Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog
- Experience with Ahrefs or Semrush
- Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
