Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a creative development expert driven to deliver compelling brand solutions for clients across our news, entertainment, lifestyle & scripted portfolios. Rogers Sports and Media is hiring for the role of Development Manager, on the Brand Solutions & GTM team. The successful candidate will own the sales development process, translating inbound client RFPs and proactive opportunities, into best-in-class media solutions that deliver real results that exceed our clients’ expectations. This role requires a master collaborator who can influence decision making with internal stakeholders, independent production companies, agency & client partners. It’s a fast-paced role that moves at the speed of the market, and requires an ability to seamlessly shift gears while working on multiple projects, with the judgement & proactive spirit to navigate complex scenarios to arrive at positive outcomes for our partners.

What you"ll do

• Develop compelling, best-in-class content solutions & integrations for clients, leveraging our full suite of Rogers’ platforms including linear, streaming, audio, talent activations, and OOH strategies.
• Validate creative instincts with insights & data-led decision making that connect solutions directly to audiences, ensuring targeted & strategic work that delivers meaningful results for our clients.
• Translate creative concepts into impactful pitch decks, with an eye towards storytelling & visual presentation.Lead the presentation of creative materials in client & agency pitch settings, with exceptional communication skills that demonstrate the power of partnering with Rogers.
• Serve as an ambassador for the Rogers Sports & Media team, actively advocating for our brands while prospecting new business leads, developing relationships with client, agency & PR stakeholders.
• Track emerging trends & ad products that will help clients stand out in culturally relevant campaign solutions.

What you"ll bring

• Direct experience in a brand strategy, media production, or journalism role leading account strategy or branded entertainment campaigns. Deep understanding of Canada’s evolving media, content & advertising landscape. Exceptional storytelling, presentation & communication skills. Strong level of comfort translating ideas into decks & creative treatments. Ability to leverage data & insights to inform strategic development.
