Lead the cybersecurity initiatives at KPU as the Director of Information Security. This strategic role focuses on safeguarding information systems and data across a vibrant university environment. In this senior leadership position, report directly to the Chief Information Officer. Oversee a team dedicated to incident management and information security technologies while advancing KPU's cybersecurity framework. Collaborate with IT leaders to translate risk assessments into effective security strategies and practical solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement KPU's cybersecurity strategies
- Oversee incident management and security technologies
- Collaborate with diverse teams on security initiatives
- Communicate security measures to non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems required
- Minimum seven years IT experience, five in security
- CISSP certification preferred
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Proven expertise in risk assessment and mitigation
