• Greet and engage with our Contractors and Lumber & Building Department customers in a friendly, engaging and charismatic manner
• Process transactions precisely and accurately
• Keep all checkout workstations clean and uncluttered
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

• Excellent customer service skills and a charismatic personality
• Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently and calmly
• Attention to detail in counting product and inputting quantity
• Comfortable working on your feet for long periods
• Experience with cash register/POS systems an asset
