Financial Processing Administrator

Job Responsibility:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time. We are currently seeking a Financial Processing Administrator to join our Back-Office Operations team.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Participate in a financial back-office team atmosphere
• Review received documentation for completeness and compliance with company and industry policies
• Log financial and non-financial fund company transactions into our transfer agency system
• Perform peer-to-peer quality control efforts
• Contribute to strong Service Levels through exceptional quality and performance
• Learn and apply financial industry knowledge on various topics, such as mutual fund plan types, tax rules, transaction types, etc.
• Apply critical thinking and work with internal parties to resolve issues and come to positive client outcomes
• Actively participate in discussions and provide recommendations on improving team processes and procedures
• Assist/back-up other team members as needed

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must Have Skills:

• Post-secondary degree
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrated creative problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal

• Mutual Fund knowledge would be an asset
• Knowledge of financial industry would be an asset (plan types, trade types, etc.)
• IFIC or Canadian Securities Course would be an asset
