Financial Communications Advisor

Job Title: Financial Communications Advisor (12 months + contract)

Note: This is a replacement for a maternity leave, full time, 12 months + contract.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation of financial disclosure documents for financial markets and the Board of Directors, including the development of key messages and highlighting the company’s performance.
• Analyze the company’s financial performance and independently address complex issues related to market perception, financial disclosure, or crisis management.
• Present and simplify financial topics for diverse audiences, adapting the level of discourse and responding to complex questions.
• Support senior management in the preparation of presentations for various internal and external audiences.
• Manage projects related to investor events, including content development, logistical coordination, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation of strategic discussions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with financial analysts, institutional investors, credit rating agencies, and the media.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance financial disclosure and promote iA’s long‑term value proposition.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and synthesis skills in complex financial contexts.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain a wide range of financial concepts.
• Strong autonomy, initiative, and sound judgment in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
• Solid project management and problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar or related role.
• Advanced level of French, both spoken and written.
• Advanced level of English, both spoken and written, to collaborate daily with English‑speaking colleagues.
