National Trainer and Enrollment Coordinator

Job Responsibility:

National Trainer & Enrollment Coordinator - 3 weeks' vacation annually, virtual position

The Learning and Development team at CASE (Canadian Association for Supported Employment) is looking for a motivated, organized, and engaging team player to cover a 15-month position for a valued member of our team!

CASE is a national member-based, non-profit organization committed to increasing employment equity for people who live in Canada who experience disability. We believe that our workforce and our communities are stronger when they include the contributions of all members. CASE offers training to employment professionals across Canada and facilitates an engaging professional network and learning community.

CASE is looking for a highly experienced trainer to facilitate networking and train professional learners across Canada as part of a national learning community. Some key responsibilities include:

• Facilitating online certificate programs (e.g., Supported Employment Essentials).
• Managing learner enrollment.
• Conducting learner and instructor orientation on the online learning management system.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience in delivering training along with direct experience in supported employment and/or employment services. They will possess strong communication skills and be confident in using a wide range of software, including Zoom, MS Office (including Excel), MS Teams, SharePoint, Camtasia (or comparable video editing programs), and working within a learning management system. They will be passionate about creating an inclusive and accessible learning environment. New team members receive a supportive orientation process, access to training and professional development, and ongoing opportunities to collaborate with a team of learning specialists.

The successful applicant will have:

• a relevant degree or combination of post-secondary education and experience in adult education and training,
• a minimum of 3 years' experience within the employment services sector,
• a minimum of 2 years' experience in facilitating online learning,
• exceptional organizational and communication skills, and
• demonstrated proficiency with a variety of software.

This is a full-time (30 hours/week) contract position from September 9, 2024, to December 9, 2025. The rate of pay is $33/hour. Closing date for applications is August 2nd, 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.

As a team member at CASE, you also receive:

• 3 weeks' vacation, annually.
• 10 days of sick time available annually.
• $120 per month towards cellphone and internet coverage.

CASE is a virtual team with members working across Canada. This remote position requires a home-based office, access to high-speed internet, and comfort working virtually.
