XiteBio Technologies Inc., an innovative agricultural company, is one of the leading-edge inoculants & ag-biological solutions providers in North America. XiteBio's IRD (Innovation, Research & Development) Centre develops unique inoculants & biological products and brings them to the markets to benefit farmers' bottom lines. XiteBio offers products like XiteBio SoyRhizo for soybeans; XiteBio PulseRhizo for peas, lentils & faba beans; XiteBio Yield+ for oilseeds, cereals & legumes; XiteBio OptiPlus dual inoculant for soybeans; XiteBio Tuber+ for tuber crops; and XiteBio Vegi+ for vegetables. XiteBio is currently seeking a full-time Digital Communications Associate in their IRD division at the Winnipeg, MB facility.
The Digital Communications Associate will mainly be responsible for XiteBio's communication needs including (but not limited to):
?research communication
?data analysis
?slide preparation
?creating product literatures
?preliminary website maintenance
?social media including blogs
?promotional writing
?database maintenance
?promotional inventory management
Suitable candidate should have strong commitment to accuracy & team environment, detail-oriented, methodical and organized as well as flexibility to work extended hours when necessary for business or communication needs. Good computer competency including Microsoft Office and other digital media are essential requirement. Farming background and knowledge of Canadian agriculture is an added advantage.
A degree or diploma in agriculture/science with adequate experience in digital communications or promotional marketing and a valid Manitoba driving license is required. This is a full-time permanent position; salary will depend on candidate's education and experience. XiteBio offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Job location will be at the XiteBio's IRD Centre at Winnipeg. There is no public transport to the facility and employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from work.
