Role Overview Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Aircraft Certification Authority (AME M2) performs work and is ready to sign a Maintenance Release for that work. The employee must hold an appropriately rated Transport Canada AME licence, must have demonstrated acceptable levels of knowledge of the Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) and its Quality Program, and must have been issued an ACA Authorization to sign a maintenance release in respect of work performed on aeronautical products. Location: Trenton, Ontario. Schedule: rotation shift (5/5/4). Compensation: $40.75 - $52.75 per hour. Key Responsibilities Perform work up to and including certification using approved processes. Carry out repair, modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures. Report any unairworthy conditions discovered, including Service Difficulties. Use certified and calibrated standard measuring and test equipment. Assume responsibility for your work as indicated by your signature or stamp. Marshal, fuel and tow aircraft. Maintain familiarity with L3 MAS policies and processes and with the Maintenance Process Manual (MPM) and related processes. Maintain a clean work area. Participate in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft if requested. Licences & Qualifications Appropriately rated AME licence (M2). Qualifications on heavy aircraft in engine / airframe interface, environmental control, electrical system, hydraulic system, fuel system and flight control system. Additional Information Eligibility criteria: must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program; must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2 / NATO Secret security clearance; and must be eligible to meet the requirements of the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
