Responsibilities
Tasks
- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas
- Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses
- Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for crop growth and development
- Cut agricultural crops
- Develop specific plans to prioritize
- Diagnose livestock health issues
- Direct farm feed inventory activities
- Direct farm grooming activities
- Handling animals
- Implement soil fertility programs
- Marking livestock as proof of ownership
- Monitor the calving process
- Monitoring animal health
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work
- Oversee the process of hoeing crops
