Nanny Wanted - Looking For An Experienced And Pet Friendly Nanny To Help Our Small But Loving, Fun And Active Family

Part-Time Nanny Needed – The Beaches 🧸🌿 Hello! We’re a family with two young children and very friendly pets, living near The Beaches in Toronto. We’re looking for a warm, energetic and dependable nanny to primarily care for our baby, Qais, three afternoons a week. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

15 hours/week (Some weeks we can offer additional hours, based on our schedule). This would then turn into full-time nanny care in February for 2-4 months, while I return to work.) We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with little ones and will keep Qais engaged, happy and active throughout the afternoon. His days might include playing together at home, going for walks, visiting neighbourhood parks or local play/drop-in centres, preparing and feeding him a small meal or snack, and helping him settle for a nap when needed. Responsibilities would be focused on the children and include:

• Preparing simple, age-appropriate meals and snacks for Qais
• Feeding him and cleaning up after his meals
• Washing and sanitizing bottles and other feeding items
• Engaging him with age-appropriate play, reading and activities
• Taking him for walks and outings to nearby parks, play centres and drop-ins
• Tidying toys and children’s areas after play
• Doing Qais and his older sister Siyana’s laundry, including folding and putting it away
• Keeping Qais’s things organized and helping us stay ahead of the little day-to-day tasks that come with having young kids

Our ideal nanny:

• Is warm, patient, playful and genuinely enjoys babies and young children
• Has experience caring for infants and toddlers
• Is CPR certified and comfortable administering basic first aid
• Is comfortable preparing simple meals for a baby
• Is comfortable getting out of the house with Qais for activities and socialization
• Is dependable and punctual
• Is proactive about finding ways to engage him rather than relying on screens
• Is comfortable around pets (we have two cats and a small dog, but no pet care is required)
