Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Partner Marketing professional to contribute to the growth of our Partnerships & Alliances organization. An ideal candidate possesses an understanding of Channel Marketing, with previous experience working with VARs, ERP partners (ie NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.), implementation/consulting businesses, and CPA/accounting organizations.
The ideal candidate is dedicated to partner success, passionate about scaling growth, and capable of executing cross-functional projects. This role is for an individual contributor that will report to the Director of Partner & Industry Marketing, and it requires a professional with a knack for content creation, project management, and relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Execute strategy to scale Alliance Partnerships team
- Design & implement multi-faceted campaigns to drive increased referral traffic from existing Tipalti partners and attract new potential partners
- Build relationships with Alliance Partner Managers, including our global VP of Alliances and his direct reports
- Manage budget to contribute to business growth and evangelize Tipalti in the wider partner community
- Identify events, opportunities, and associations to expand our reach
- Develop themes for thought leadership content across media publications, associations, and more in the FinTech community
- Run product-led, thought leadership, and hospitality events for the partner team
- Own and build relationships with external speakers, thought leaders, and publications
- Work closely with the entire marketing and field sales teams to establish a strong brand for the Alliance Partner team internally
- Effectively communicate and manage scalable strategies to grow our partner ecosystems
- Enable Partner Managers on new product rollouts and maintain sales assets
- Own quarterly Partner Newsletter to keep our community informed about our Alliance's Team
About you
- 2+ years in SaaS-based Technologies and/or FinTech, financial services, or other related finance experience
- 5+ years in marketing; preferably with a background in sales or consulting
- Experience working in the ERP / accounting / financial management / financial ops domain is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Executor mindset, comfortable building new scalable programs, and relentlessly assessing effectiveness
- Brings an existing network of relationships across partner marketing associations, publications, or other growth-generating channels
- Strong ability to drive execution of strategic initiatives and tactics
- Previous experience managing budgets
- Superb organizational skills with an ability to plan multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience negotiating marketing contracts for lead generation, branding, and more
- Ability to incentivize partner engagement with existing / new collateral
- Willingness to travel for local events or team gatherings (no more than 25% of the time)
- A track record of working in a fast-paced environment, setting your own demanding expectations, inspiring and supporting your teammates and exceeding those expectations
- Ability to understand and demonstrate Tipalti's products as well as to interact with product, marketing, sales, and operational teams and executives through a variety of channels
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
Unique aspects of this role
Travel:
- Moderate overnight travel anticipated (10-20%)
Schedule:
- Normal workweek business hours within geographic location and time zone.
- May require flexibility to coordinate schedules across time zones with internal teams and external customers and contacts.
Physical aspects:
- Position is located onsite/in-office three days per week.
- Prolonged sitting and/or standing at workstation.
- Prolonged computer and/or telephone usage.
