We are seeking a mid-level Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Vancouver, BC. This is a remote-only position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to exciting projects. If you have a passion for coding and experience with Java , Spring Boot , and XML , we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java and Spring Boot .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure best practices in coding and design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our applications are cutting-edge.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of Java and Spring Boot .
- Hands-on experience with XML for data interchange and configuration purposes.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other programming languages or frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
