Lean Improvement Leader at BWXT

Lead transformative Lean initiatives at BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada in Peterborough as a Lean Improvement Leader. Optimize workflows and enhance operational performance across our facilities. In this key role reporting to the Operation Excellence Manager, you will influence teams to adopt Lean methodologies within the Fuel Handling and Engineered Solutions group. Your experience will support continuous improvement efforts in Peterborough and Arnprior, driving efficiency and excellence across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Lean projects to improve production efficiency
• Oversee the setup of new manufacturing cells
• Implement visual controls and process audits
• Conduct detailed process analysis for improvements
• Develop key performance indicators to gauge success

Requirements:

• Completion of post-secondary education in relevant fields
• Minimum 10 years in manufacturing/nuclear environments
• Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus
• Extensive experience with process improvement projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
