Breast and Gynecologic Pathologist Wanted

Join EORLA as a Breast and Gynecologic Pathologist in Ottawa, Ontario, offering a full-time academic surgical pathology role. Focus on high-volume gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and breast specimens while expanding your skills. This position at the Ottawa Hospital provides the chance to collaborate with a well-respected team of over 40 pathologists. You will be involved in a fully subspecialized model, handling significant surgical pathology cases while enhancing depth and breadth through additional areas of expertise. Teaching and collaborative research also come as part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee annual surgical pathology exceeding 120,000 cases
• Contribute to subspecialty discussions and case assessments
• Participate in education and research at the university
• Comply with Ontario licensure requirements
• Complete a satisfactory Criminal Records Check

Requirements:

• MD degree with eligibility for licensure in Ontario
• Certification in Anatomical Pathology essential
• Active involvement in teaching and collaborative projects
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements
