Production Labourers – Flour Mill

Tahil Group is a proudly Canadian company focused on food production, infrastructure development and community growth. Through OTI Food Products Ltd., we operate a modern flour-processing facility in Acme, Alberta, where we produce premium, additive-free flour for Canadian families, bakeries, food manufacturers and private-label partners.

We are currently looking for two Production Labourers to join our flour mill team. The successful candidates will assist with flour production, packaging, material handling and the general operation and cleanliness of the facility.

Main Duties:

• Transport grain, flour, packaging materials and finished products throughout the production facility and warehouse
• Load raw materials and ingredients into hoppers and processing equipment
• Feed and unload flour-processing and packaging machines
• Remove packaged products from conveyors and pack flour into bags, boxes or other containers
• Stack, organize and prepare finished products for storage or shipment
• Check products and packaging for visible defects or damage
• Clean production equipment, machinery, work areas and storage areas
• Assist machine operators with routine flour-processing and packaging activities
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
• Perform other general production duties as required

Compensation and Conditions:

• This is a permanent full-time position. Candidates must be prepared to work day shifts and occasionally work on weekends.

• Wage offered: $25.00 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week.
• Occasional overtime may be required, with applicable overtime pay after 44 hours of work per week.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Experience is an asset
• Ability to lift, move and handle raw materials, packaged flour and production supplies
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• Reliable, punctual and attentive to detail
