Duties

-Prepare a variety of baked goods, including sourdough loaves and starter-based products, following established recipes and standards
-Assist in food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations
-Support overall food preparation activities, including ingredient measurement and assembly
-Assisting in tracking inventory levels
-Package baked items carefully for retail display or customer orders to maintain freshness and presentation
-Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas to uphold food safety standards

Requirements

-Proven experience in baking and/or food preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting
-Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices
-Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
-Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude
-Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights as needed
-Enthusiasm for learning new techniques in baking, decorating, and food presentation
