Experienced Water Resources Engineer Needed

WSP is seeking an Experienced Water Resources Engineer to lead mine water and surface water projects across Western Canada. This senior role offers flexibility in Alberta and British Columbia while focusing on project delivery. In this leadership position within the Mine Water & Environment – West division, you will design and manage water control infrastructures, mentor engineering teams, and shape water management strategies. Your extensive experience will play a vital role in WSP’s growth and innovation in the water practice. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex mine water and surface water projects
• Develop mine water management strategies with resilience considerations
• Deliver hydrological assessments for various mining operations
• Design surface water infrastructure including channels and ponds
• Contribute expertise to enhance team standards and practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• P.Eng. designation preferred in Canadian provinces
• Minimum 12 years of experience in water resources engineering
• Proven leadership on multidisciplinary water projects
• Familiarity with hydraulic modelling tools
