Sales & Customer Service Associate (Retail + Kitchen)

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet and engage customers with warmth, professionalism, and knowledge
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, and in person
• Provide accurate information about products and services to support informed choices
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight key features and health benefits
• Handle customer complaints with empathy, aiming for timely and respectful resolution
• Process POS transactions accurately (cash, card, refunds, and basic math handling)
• Maintain clear and organized records of customer interactions and transactions
• Collaborate with team members to continually improve service and sales delivery

Kitchen & Retail Operations

• Open the kitchen and retail area and help prepare fresh menu items (e.g., breakfast cookies, cornbread)
• Maintain a clean and organized retail space: stock shelves, rotate inventory, face product
• Support with packaging and preparing retail-ready products
• Monitor stock and inform management of low inventory or product issues
• Assist with end-of-day cleanup, closing duties, and other tasks as assigned

? We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience in both food service and retail/customer service
• Communicates clearly, both in-person and by phone/email (multilingual is a plus!)
• Is comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
• Has excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail
• Handles customer concerns with professionalism and emotional intelligence
• Is confident with basic math and POS systems for sales and transactions
• Can conduct engaging product demos and explain product benefits
• Understands and values cleanliness, food safety, and presentation
• Is punctual, dependable, and available for morning and weekend shifts

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$19.60 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
