We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to lead the technical implementation, cloud architecture, and integration of vendor Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and custom enterprise solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs into secure, scalable, and reliable cloud components. Leveraging deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, .NET Core, C#/MVC, Entity Framework, ReactJS, and Azure DevOps, you will build data integration pipelines, perform system testing, manage automated build/release pipelines, and ensure full compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and accessibility standards.

Location: Toronto, ON (Fully Onsite – 5 days/week required)

Responsibilities
Full-Stack Application Development: Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable web applications and cloud components using Microsoft .NET Core, C#/MVC, Entity Framework, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

Cloud Infrastructure & Microservices: Develop and deploy cloud-native microservices, serverless logic, and web integrations using Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.

SaaS Solution Integration: Support end-to-end technical integration between vendor SaaS platforms and core internal enterprise databases, ensuring seamless data flows and operational readiness.

Database Design & Administration: Design, model, and configure database management systems using Azure SQL Database; execute data modeling, database tuning, capacity planning, user access security (Azure AD), and data masking procedures.

DevOps & CI/CD Engineering: Build, configure, and maintain automated build, testing, and deployment CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and source control repositories.

Testing & Defect Remediation: Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), analyze system performance bottlenecks, and implement technical defect fixes.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with third-party technical vendor leads, infrastructure architects, security specialists, and business stakeholders to manage technical dependencies and resolve issues.

Qualifications
Azure & .NET Seniority: 10+ years of experience building and maintaining stable, secure, and scalable applications using Azure Cloud and Microsoft .NET technologies (Strictly Required).

Full SDLC Cloud Development: Demonstrated hands-on experience in full life-cycle development using Azure, .NET, C#/MVC, Entity Framework, ReactJS, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript, Azure DevOps, Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps (Strictly Required).

DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines: Proven experience building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in Azure DevOps (Strictly Required).

Database Modeling & Management: 5+ years of experience designing, building, modeling, and configuring database management systems (such as Azure SQL Database) (Strictly Required).

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams, third-party vendors, and business partners.

Nice-to-Have Assets:
Prior software development experience within a public sector or enterprise government environment.

Experience applying web accessibility standards (AODA / WCAG 2.0 AA) and cloud security best practices.

Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) or WPF legacy frameworks.
