Surface Mining Driller

About the Role:

Currently, we are seeking a motivated and qualified individuals to join our growing Surface Mining team for work currently available in Ontario . This position offers fly in/fly out (FIFO) and accommodations , a competitive pay structure, and benefits/pension package.

The key responsibilities of the Surface Mining Driller include but are not limited to:

• Operation of Top Hammer and DTH Drills
• Operate surface drilling equipment for mining, quarrying, and road construction projects
• Safely and efficiently execute drilling operations according to project specifications
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met
• Maintain equipment and perform routine inspections
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience surface drilling in pits, quarries, and road construction
• Proficient in operating drilling equipment, including Top Hammer and DTH Drills
• Surface Common Core (770210) and U504 Module Production Drilling is an asset
• Successful applicants will be asked to provide a valid Ontario driver's abstract or equivalent
• Must provide a valid Criminal Record Check for the purpose of obtaining a NRCAN letter of approval
