Design Works Engineering
Lead structural design in Grande Prairie as an engineer of record, using RISA-3D, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD on site.Design Works Engineering seeks a Senior Structural Engineer with seven-plus years designing buildings. You will lead multi-family residential, commercial, and institutional projects across Alberta and Canada. The work includes wood, steel, concrete, lateral systems, transfer structures, and multidisciplinary coordination.Key Responsibilities:
Lead concepts, analysis, drawings, specifications, and construction supportSolve lateral systems and transfer structure challengesReview and stamp engineers' calculations and drawingsCoordinate with architects and in-house engineering disciplinesSupport proposals, fee estimates, and client relationshipsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineeringP.Eng. with APEGA, in good standingSeven-plus years designing building structuresExperience designing wood, steel, and concreteProficiency in RISA-3D, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCADBring structural leadership, technical review, and multidisciplinary coordination to Design Works Engineering's Grande Prairie team.
