You will work across the full technology stack, taking ownership of complex features and high-impact engineering initiatives from design through deployment.
The role combines full-stack development with distributed systems, IoT, real-time data, and cloud technologies.
You will help solve challenging problems involving large-scale datasets, event-driven architectures, connected devices, and production systems.
Beyond writing code, you will influence architecture, improve reliability and scalability, and help establish strong engineering practices.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers in an agile environment while mentoring less experienced developers.

As a Senior Full Stack Software Developer, you will take end-to-end ownership of critical software initiatives while contributing across the broader engineering ecosystem. You will combine hands-on development with technical leadership, system optimization, problem solving, and knowledge sharing.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain product-level software across the full technology stack.
- Take ownership of critical features and high-impact projects from initial design through production deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve complex production issues by tracing root causes across hardware, networks, services, and application layers.
- Evaluate live systems for performance, cost, reliability, and scalability, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization and refactoring.
- Develop and maintain distributed, event-driven systems capable of supporting real-time communications and large-scale data processing.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers within agile development cycles to align technical solutions with business and customer needs.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback focused on quality, maintainability, performance, and engineering best practices.
- Improve technical documentation and promote clear, sustainable engineering practices as systems and teams evolve.
- Mentor junior engineers and co-op students, helping strengthen technical capabilities and knowledge across the team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across the codebase, development processes, and overall engineering organization.
- Extensive experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining high-impact full-stack software solutions.
- Strong proficiency in technologies such as Kotlin, Python, TypeScript, and Spring Boot or comparable programming languages and frameworks.
- Proven experience building robust, scalable applications and distributed microservices.
- Deep knowledge of event-driven architectures and technologies such as Apache Kafka, Debezium, and Pub/Sub systems.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud-managed applications and containerized environments using Docker.
- Experience working with IoT systems, large-scale datasets, and complex data management environments.
- Familiarity with data pipelines and platforms such as Snowflake, as well as real-time caching technologies such as Redis.
- Strong understanding of system performance, reliability, scalability, observability, and production troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI and agentic development tools, with the judgment to combine AI-assisted workflows with reliable human-led engineering practices.
- Strong technical communication skills and the ability to lead design discussions and influence architectural decisions.
- Demonstrated mentoring experience and a willingness to elevate the technical capabilities of other engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, ownership, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and design teams in an agile environment.
- Competitive annual base salary of CAD $130,000–$160,000 .
