Le poste jumelé deux écoles. La personne choisie desservira les 2 écoles.
Sous la supervision de la direction d'école, la personne au poste de technicien en bibliothèque joue un rôle clé dans la gestion efficace de la bibliothèque scolaire en aidant les élèves à accéder à des ressources éducatives, en organisant les collections et en fournissant un soutien technique.
Principales responsabilités
- La technicienne ou le technicien en bibliothèque gère le centre de ressources et aide à l’acquisition des ressources documentaires.
- Elle ou il effectue le traitement et la mise en circulation des ressources.
- La personne doit utiliser et maintenir un système informatisé de gestion des ressources et de l’équipement afin de rendre le centre de ressources totalement accessible, pouvant répondre aux besoins des élèves et du personnel enseignant.
- Elle ou il effectue le catalogage original des livres qui ne peuvent pas être catalogués centralement.
- La personne devra assurer un service à la clientèle de qualité qui répond aux valeurs, à la vision et la mission du Conseil scolaire Viamonde.
Exigences de l'emploi
Formation :
Détenir un diplôme d’études collégiales de trois (3) ans en techniques de documentation
Expérience :
Bonne expérience en services documentaires et de logiciels utilisés en services documentaires (Regard)
Exigences particulières :
- Bonne connaissance de la suite Microsoft office, Word, Excel
- Connaissance du catalogage original et dérivé
- Capacité d’appuyer les enseignantes et enseignants dans la planification
- Capacité de guider les élèves et de les introduire aux nouveautés dans ce domaine
- Sens de la planification et de l’organisation du travail
- Excellentes habiletés de lecture et de communication écrite et orale en français et en anglais
