Director of Financial Planning in Canada

Lead financial strategy as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in Toronto, Canada. Drive financial performance management and develop actionable insights to support executive decisions. This leadership position oversees the global FP&A function, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and multi-country financial management. Collaborating closely with senior leaders, you'll ensure the alignment of organizational strategy with operational priorities and resource availability. Key Responsibilities:

Lead annual budgets, forecasts, and multi-year financial plans
Conduct scenario modeling to assess funding gaps and growth opportunities
Establish performance management processes for executive reviews
Prepare insightful reporting materials for CFO and Board
Partner with departments to align strategic objectives and finance

Requirements:

Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
At least 10 years of finance experience in complex environments
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency
Proven leadership in strategic planning and team development
Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%
