Your Role

We are looking for a full-time Billing Technician to join an accounting team in Montreal.

The ideal candidate stands out for their excellent mastery of Excel, their rigor, and their ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving environment. Experience in the professional services sector is essential.

Your Responsibilities

• Carry out monthly billing for ongoing work
  
• Prepare client invoices while ensuring compliance with contractual agreements
  
• Respond to billing-related requirements and meet deadlines
  
• Correct errors in time entries: transfers, date changes, time division, project grouping, etc.
  
• Ensure follow-up on projects to be billed and transmit billing electronically
  
• Ensure payment collection
  
• Resolve billing issues: time or expense transfers, rate errors, time adjustments, write-offs, etc.
  
• Prepare monthly tracking tables
  
• Manage client requests related to accounts receivable
  
• Update various projects
  
• Make necessary adjustments in project transactions
  
• Perform various related tasks as needed
  

Desired Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or administration, ideally in a professional services or corporate environment
  
• DEC in accounting or equivalent training in a related field
  
• Excellent mastery of computer tools, particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  
• Knowledge of QuickBooks or Clio is an asset
  
• Excellent communication skills in French and English , both oral and written
  
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members
  
• Aptitude for managing multiple files simultaneously
  
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team
  
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
  
• Ability to perform well under pressure
