Join CHEO as the Chief of Pediatric Anatomical Pathology, leading innovative diagnostic services for pediatric patients across Eastern Ontario. This full-time role emphasizes leadership and quality patient care. As Division Chief in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, you will take charge of a lab responsible for thousands of pediatric specimens. This role includes managing a skilled team of pediatric pathologists and overseeing various administrative and quality assurance responsibilities. You will also be involved in teaching residents and engaging in valuable research projects, all while supporting excellent patient care across the region. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct operations of pediatric anatomical pathology laboratory
- Manage team dynamics and ensure high-quality diagnostic practices
- Provide critical clinical consultations and educational support
- Engage in resident training and supervision in pediatric pathology
- Promote and contribute to meaningful research initiatives
- MD with Fellowship in Anatomical Pathology required
- Pediatric Pathology Fellowship or equivalent necessary
- Strong leadership and communication capabilities
- Experience with pediatric anatomical pathology procedures
- French skills considered an asset
