Director of Transportation Network Planning

As Director, you will provide key leadership in long-range transportation planning, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams. Your role involves crafting comprehensive business cases, aligning transit expansion with regional growth, and integrating land use policies. You will engage with stakeholders, ensuring that projects reflect Metro Vancouver’s diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead 10-30 year planning strategies for network and land use
• Direct project scoping and business case development
• Advise on land use decisions aligning with transportation projects
• Establish governance and decision-making frameworks
• Drive performance management and strategic guidance
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in planning or related field
• Minimum 10 years in transportation or planning management
• Expertise in public policy and urban planning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
