Overnight Newborn Nanny & Household Support

We are expecting our first baby in May 2027 and are looking for a reliable, experienced overnight newborn nanny to support our family during the first weeks after birth. This will be a live-out position for one newborn, starting around May 20, 2027. We are hoping for help approximately 3 to 4 nights per week, ideally Monday through Wednesday, from about 10:00p.m. to 6:00a.m. The initial arrangement will likely be for 4 to 6 weeks, with the possibility of extending or adjusting the schedule based on our family’s needs. We are open to discussing whether the role is part-time or full-time depending on availability and fit. The main focus of this role will be overnight newborn care, including diaper changes, soothing, burping, settling the baby back to sleep, preparing bottles if needed, and bringing the baby to me for breastfeeding if applicable. We are looking for someone who can help make overnight wake-ups as manageable as possible for both parents and who is comfortable working independently while we sleep. When the baby is safely sleeping, we would also appreciate light household support, including washing and organizing bottles and pump parts, doing family laundry, folding family laundry, keeping the kitchen tidy, dishes, wiping counters, restocking baby supplies, tidying common areas, and meal preparation. Newborn care will always be the priority. We are looking for someone calm, dependable, respectful of our routines and feeding preferences, and experienced with very young infants. Infant CPR/First Aid, strong references, and a criminal record or vulnerable sector check are required. A driver’s licence is not required, but reliable transportation to and from our home is important.
