Senior Real Estate Law Clerk

GSR LAW PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION, is based in Brampton, Ontario, and is currently seeking a Senior Real Estate Law Clerk to join our busy real estate law practice group. This position is ideal for an individual who wishes to work in a fast-paced and growing firm. Real estate law experience is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Handing all aspect of residential / commercial real estate transactions
- Review Agreements of Purchase and Sale, mortgage instructions and mortgage commitments
- Contact clients and coordinate scheduling
- Order title insurance policies
- Reviewing title search documents, preparing documents on Teraview
- Meeting with clients to review documentation, prepare reporting letters, and preparing other transactional documents
- Keeping track of key dates in the real estate closing process
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- 1-5 years work experience at a real estate law firm
- Work experience in areas of real estate and mortgages
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in individual and team environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Excellent computer skills and use of Microsoft Office 365, specifically Word, Outlook as well as Cosmolex
- Expert level knowledge of Teraview
