Assistant Museum Director
The Bella Coola Valley Museum Society is looking for an outgoing and reliable individual to assist with the daily functions of the museum.
This is full-time position from June 27-August 31,2026
Wage: $21.00 per hour ,35 hours per week
Place: Bella Coola Valley Museum
Application deadline: June 1 at 4pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Inform visitors about local history and museum exhibits
-Assist with enhancing current museum displays
-Conduct short presentation tours around the museum
-Operate a small gift area
-Light indoor and outdoor maintenance
-Assist with local advertising
-Additional duties may be required by the supervisor
Qualifications:
-Work well collaboratively and independently
-Excellent oral and written skills
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Good computers skills
-Experience working in sale is an asset
-Must be between the age of 15 and 30 years of age
