Build reliable IoT firmware for OPIsystems Inc.’s BLUE® and EPIQ® platforms, using embedded Linux, MQTT, and distributed-system communications.This experienced Embedded Firmware Developer begins with stabilization and feature development for BLUE®. Over time, the work expands to ESP32 devices, FreeRTOS applications, and connected agricultural products. You will collaborate with hardware, cloud, QA, and product teams while supporting architecture discussions.Key Responsibilities:
Develop firmware for ESP32-based devicesDevelop applications running on FreeRTOSImplement AWS IoT Core and MQTT communicationsIntegrate sensors, actuators, and wireless field devicesEnhance over-the-air update mechanismsRequirements:
Five or more years of embedded firmware experienceStrong C programming, Python, and Linux proficiencyExperience with JSON and Protocol BuffersAbility to read electrical schematicsPreferred experience with ESP32 and ESP-IDFShape connected agriculture firmware through ESP32, FreeRTOS, MQTT, AWS IoT Core, and reliable embedded product development.
