We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator for our location in Paris, Ontario.
The shift is 3:15pm to 1:15am - Monday to Thursday.
This position is currently open and reflects a growth in the company.
The salary range for this position is $20.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.
Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success
- Operate AXYZ CNC routers safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials onto CNC machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Perform quality checks using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
- Maintain production targets and deadlines
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate when required
- Follow all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements
Qualifications

- Previous CNC operating experience (AXYZ preferred but not required)
- Experience with CNC routers, woodworking, plastics, or aluminum cutting is an asset
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
