As of January 1, 2026, Conexus, Cornerstone, and Synergy credit unions have merged into one provincial credit union serving over 200,000 members in 57 branches across 50 Saskatchewan communities.

The bigger picture  

As a part-time Financial Services Advisor II (FSA II), you are responsible for understanding our members’ financial goals and supporting their achievement through the provision of sound financial advice. This includes the offering and fulfillment of financial services and products, including consumer lending and investments (including mutual funds). This opportunity will support our members in Yorkton working 3 days per week.

How you’ll be spending your time  

Member experience and sales

• Proactively identify members’ financial goals and provide advice and solutions to support their achievement through the provision of introductory financial planning


• Provide account, investment and lending products, within scope of position, to meet member needs:
  
  
  
  • Memberships and accounts including lines of credit
  
  
  • Consumer investment products including mutual funds
  
  
  • Complex consumer lending products
  
  
  • Cards
  
  
  • Registered products
  
  
  • Safety deposit boxes
  
  
  • Mobile banking solutions
  
  
  • Day to day banking needs
  
  


• Conduct proactive outreach activities to educate members and prospective members on the value and function of our products and services


• Increase retention and expansion of member relationships by referring members to appropriate subject matter experts, based on needs, and follow-up to ensure member satisfaction

Compliance and organizational support

• Ensure complete, accurate and timely documentation


• Adhere to security and operational policies, procedures and operational controls


• Ensure a healthy balance between opportunity & risk and between growth & profitability (e.g. through understanding and application of profitability margins in rate negotiation, fee subsidies, etc.)


• Positively represent Conexus externally to support the growth of our membership and to enhance credit union system support and collaboration


• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve operational efficiencies


• Provide support, assistance and backup as required for retail team

The experience you bring  

• 3+ years of Financial Industry Experience


• Experience working in a customer care/customer service role


• Experience in portfolio management


• IFIC Licensed and experience selling Mutual Funds is required


• Experience in Underwriting Loans is required, experience in approving those loans is an asset


• Personal Financial Services Associate designation is an asset


• Certified Financial Planner Designation is an asset

Salary range

$34.13 - $42.66 hourly
