Financial Analyst Role in Ottawa Hybrid Model

The Royal Ottawa Volunteer Association seeks a Junior Financial Analyst for its hybrid model, requiring three days in-office. Focus on timely financial reporting and general ledger support.

You will be pivotal in preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting policies for ROVA and its affiliates. This role demands an understanding of full-cycle accounting while building collaborative relationships within and outside the organization.

Key Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly internal and external financial statements • Support annual audits and regulatory compliance • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable batches • Complete general ledger reconciliations monthly • Analyze discrepancies and prepare billing requests

Requirements: • Diploma in Accounting or Finance degree needed • At least 3 years’ experience in accounting • Competency in full-cycle accounting methods • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
