Elevate your career with the Toronto Transit Commission as a Senior Architect. This hybrid role emphasizes innovative design and compliance in transit facilities architecture. TTC is hiring two Senior Architects to steer architectural projects within the Engineering Department. You will manage teams, prepare essential design documents, and conduct project evaluations. Your leadership will guide the Architectural Design Section to achieve effective, safe, and cost-efficient designs. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee preparation of contractual documents
- Define work scope and establish project priorities
- Facilitate multidisciplinary project teams
- Conduct field investigations and reporting
- Provide training and direction to designers
- Degree in Architecture and experience in similar roles
- Active membership with Ontario Association of Architects
- In-depth knowledge of architectural methods and regulations
- Familiarity with construction codes relevant to transit
- Proficient in design software and CADD applications
